Peanut chutny

   Peanut Chutny is one of the  important parts of an authentic North Karnataka meal. It is served with Ghee or Curd and is usually eaten with Roti or Chapati .Let us see how to prepare the peanut chutny :-)  


    Ingredients
  • Roasted Peanuts  --  250 grams
  • Garlic  --  10 to 12 cloves
  • Cumin seeds  --  1 tsp
  • Red Chilly powder  --  4 tsp
  • Salt  --  2 tsp


    Method

       Remove the skin of roasted peanuts. Add it to a grinder jar along with all the other ingredients and        grind the coarsely. Now take out 1/4th part of the mixture from the grinder(to have the chunks of peanut in the chutny) and grind remaining part to form fine powder. Now mix both the parts to get the delicious peanut chutny.
